Hello, I am Ashton Briar Vaughn. I am a designer living in Houston but the Dallas native in me will always root for the Mavericks. My design experience ranges from crafting logos and other branding materials, poster illustration to UX/UI and custom lettering but I'm always trying to expand. Sonny Boy Jerky Bites is a small family-owned company in San Antonio, Texas. Luckily, the client had a very clear picture of what she felt her brand represented. This made the designing process that much easier. After designing four logotype drafts, we narrowed it down to two. We then polished a final draft that embodied the homely and inviting feel she wanted as well as enough Southern flair to speak up for the jerky itself.
The yellow version is for the mild flavor and the red one is for the original spicy.
